Padhai · Education Loan

Learning shouldn't
wait on money.

Interest-free education loans help students from remote villages and economically weaker families continue their studies without financial hardship standing in the way.

How it helps

Support that respects
dignity, not paperwork.

A promising student shouldn't have to drop out because their family can't cover school or college fees. VPCF's education loan gives deserving students the breathing room to stay enrolled, sit exams and finish what they started.

Each request is reviewed individually with the family, so support goes where it's genuinely needed—documented, interest-free and without the pressure of a commercial lender.

Eligibility

Who the loan
is meant for.

The loan is currently available to students of the Punjabi & Sindhi community residing in the territory of Vapi, Daman & Silvassa. It can be denied to students of members who belong to the community but have married outside it.

Support is restricted to two students per family, and every application must be backed by two guarantors.

Caps are the maximum amount sanctioned and disbursed per year per student, reviewed by the committee from time to time. Every application is screened year to year—support in one year doesn't carry an automatic right to renewal; the student re-applies and is re-evaluated each time.

How to apply

A process built
for fairness.

01Apply in the window

Applications open twice a year—around April for the new academic year, and around October for the second semester. Deadlines are announced by SMS to VPCF members; forms received after the last date aren't entertained.

02Scrutiny

Three committee-nominated members screen every application on a point-based system, so shortlisting stays unbiased and priorities are set by the criteria, not by who asks.

03Personal interview

Shortlisted students and a parent/guardian are called in and informed by phone. The committee verifies income (salary slips & IT returns), original marksheets, the choice of course/college, and the guarantors' standing.

04Guarantors

Two guarantors are required, each a VPCF member with their own residence, valid photo ID and a signed affidavit.

05Disbursement

The loan covers tuition fee only—no donations or other charges. The cheque is made out to the institute directly, or to the candidate/guardian if the fee has already been paid.

06Audit

Two members, rotated every year and separate from the education committee, audit the loans disbursed and the process followed.
